As the Marshall Lions and the Hutsonville Tigers boys basketball teams played on Friday,
February 11th, instead of a sea of red and white vs. orange and blue the Hutsonville and Marshall Future Business Leaders
of America asked fans to wear pink. The FBLA members from the two schools joined forces to raise money for Breast Cancer
Research by sponsoring a “Pink Out” in McNary Gym. Both chapters offered for sale “Hoops
for Hope” pink t-shirts for fans to wear to the game with all profit from the sale of the shirts going to the
Wabash Valley Susan G. Komen Foundation. The Marshall Red Rush also sponsored some activities at the game to raise
money for the foundation. The event raised a total of $1002.52! Thanks SO MUCH to all those who contributed!
