LIONS FINISH REGULAR SEASON UNDEFEATED!
The MHS basketball program finished the regular season undefeated at every level (Fresh-Soph
12-0, Junior Varsity 16-0, Varsity 26-0)...a combined total of 54-0! Congratulations!
LITTLE ILLINI CONFERENCE CHAMPS! The Lions captured the 2008-2009 LIC title and finished undefeated
in LIC play for the second year in a row. Back to back to back LIC titles...well done Lions!
LIONS BREAK CONSECUTIVE WINS RECORD!
The win at West Vigo tied the record of 17 consecutive wins, set in the
2004-2005 season. The Lions broke the record by defeating Edwards County on January 24th. The Lions continued
winning...and winning...and winning, eventually losing in Peoria in the State Semi-final game. The new streak is 31
consecutive wins...congratulations!

LOGAN EITEL SCORES 1,000th POINT!
Logan Eitel scored his 1,000th career point during the championship game of the Capital
Classic on Saturday night versus T-town. Logan entered the contest with 999 points and surpassed the milestone in the
first quarter of play. Congratulations Logan!
